The Pro feral cat trap has a rear sliding door that is made from clear polycarbonate, this is designed to give the wary feral cats more confidence entering the trap as the rear of the cage appears to be open.
The cat trap is triggered by the cat standing on a treadle plate inside the trap that releases the door.
Once the trap is triggered the door is locked by a spring loaded locking bar.
When you remove the cat from the cage you can slide out the rear door making it easy to transfer the cat into a transfer cage or cat basket.

The baskets are top opening with a bar and eye fastener for a secure close and has a heavy duty handle on the top for easy carrying.
The cat transfer basket has also has a sliding side door that mates up with the range of Trap Man cat traps making it easier to transfer the more aggressive cats into the cat carrier.

I bought a drop trap from you last year which has been brilliant for catching strays that are too wary of a “normal” cat trap.
My local rescue is interested in purchasing one but I can no longer find the drop-trap on your website.

Great to hear our drop trap has worked well for you.
Just at present we don’t have any available as they are in at our platers and will be back this Thursday
We’ve made our new batch slightly larger but able to fold for transport and storage and replaced the bit of wood for an attached leg to prevent loss.

Thanks! It arrived today and looks great – definitely an improvement on the Tomahawk drop trap we’ve been using. We’re hoping to get some neuter spaces this week and so will use the new trap asap and let you know how it goes.
